e.Gate Access Control System is a network based access control system (although it supports autonomous mode) capable of handling from a single door control up to hundreds of doors (limited only by the performance of PC server). The e.Gate software broke new ground in the user interface design and system expandability by incorporating the Virtual Mimic Panel (VMP) and built-in Logic Programming capability.
Fortress
Fortress Access Control System is a single door standalone access controller with built-in security alarm system designed for small and medium size offices. This standalone and cost effective controller not only comes with all the necessary and advance features of a single door (two readers) controller, it is also a 6-zones security alarm system. The product is currently under development by Abacus Silicon Technology and will be released in
SecuTech Expo 2005 Taipei, Taiwan. March 31 - April 2.

Reader
The EM9928 Desktop
card reader reads the proximity cards and passes the information
to a computer via the RS-232 communication port. It helps to enhance
the value of one’s investment on access control system by extending
the functionality of the proximity card to other applications.
The reader can
be used in computer access control and secure log-on using existing
proximity cards. PC or network access is granted when a card is
presented. However, without a card being present, the system will
be self-locked by its secure, proximity activated screen saver.
It also helps to free users from the need to enter passwords, thereby
optimizing security and help-desk costs.
In additional,
the EM9928 desktop card reader is available in a number of versions
which support almost all proximity cards.
